From the Quay to Mudeford

Around the Quay and the Priory, the streets are old, narrow and often in a conservation area, where the loading spot and any parking suspension want arranging before the van turns up. Out at Mudeford and the sandspit, life revolves around the water — beach-hut moves, tight lanes to the shore, and a summer that brings the crowds and the parked-up visitors. Highcliffe (with its clifftop views toward the Needles) and Burton are calmer, greener and full of bungalows that make for straightforward single-level loading.

A town that moves at its own pace

Christchurch has one of the older demographics on the south coast, and a lot of our work here is helping people downsize — a family home of forty years into a manageable flat or a bungalow nearer the children. That kind of move is rarely about speed. It’s about wrapping the things that matter, being patient with the sorting, and sometimes holding a houseful in storage while the right new place comes along. Getting around Christchurch

The A35 runs straight through toward Bournemouth and Poole, and the Christchurch bypass links quickly to the A31 for moves further into Dorset or up-country.
